This is how I feel about the big wind turbines here. They disturb the nesting grounds of certain birds, and have been proven to cause some pretty massive bird kills during migration.
There doesn’t seem to be any answer to clean energy without there being something that gets thrown under the bus. (although I keep hearing encouraging reports about cold fusion)
I am sorry that your beautiful area is now going to suffer for the the perceived needs of the rest of the country.
Well of course – when was the last time food production brought millions of dollars to the government? “Take the quick buck” -That was very apropos. It’s too bad Australia can’t be the first government to pave the way by making the better decision that is right for both the farmers AND the environment.
